PROJECT STORY

The 115 km long 400 kV (quad) D/C Udupi – Kasargode transmission lines will improve the reliability and stability of power supply in northern area of Kerala; and relieving congestion between S1 (Andhra Pradesh, Telangana, Karnataka) and S2 (Tamil Nadu, Kerala) corridor.

Deadline: SCOD as per TSA is 38 months from SPV acquisition

Element 1 – Managlore (Udupi PCL) – Kasargode 400 kV (Quad) D/C line

Element 2 – Establishment of 2×500 MVA, 400/220 kV GIS sub-station at Kasargode

Element 3 – Three 2 Nos. of 400 kV line bays and Bus Bar Extension Works at UPCL switchyard
