PROJECT STORY

The Lakadia Vadodara Transmission Project Limited has is a “Green Energy Transmission Corridor” project aimed at meeting India’s renewable energy target of installing 175 GW by 2022. The transmission line will connect the wind energy zones of Bhuj to the load centres in Maharashtra and Gujarat. The Lakadia – Vadodara 765 kV D/C line will help in the evacuation of power from renewable energy (RE) sources in Kutch to Vadodara for onward dispersal.
