Power transmission infrastructure developer Sterlite Power has joined hands with the country’s other leading power transmission companies to announce common benchmark practices for Quality, Health, Safety and Environment (QHSE) in the power sector.

Moreover, this charter will operate under the jointly created forum SANQALP (Safety and Quality Association of Leading Partners).

As per the National Electricity Plan (NEP) on transmission, India requires about Rs 2.7 lakh crore till FY22 to build the additional electricity transmission system in the country.

This charter will help streamline the commissioning process to build reliable and quality assets while ensuring safety in each step at work.
